Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Director of Communications, along with a senior governmental official, will hold a press briefing for national and international media on Saturday, June 26, 2010, on the G-8 summit.

Only media accredited for the International Media Centre and part of the official media pool will have access to the briefing room at the Deerhurst Resort.

The briefing will be broadcast via the host broadcaster back to the International Media Centre in Theatre I and the Alternative Media Centre.

The press briefing is for attribution and cameras are allowed. The briefing will be streamed live on the G-8 website <http://g8.gc.ca/home/> .
